Grub (Junction 8)

Grub is a homegrown casual restaurant group best known for its burgers, which started out beside the river at Bishan-Ang Mo Kio Park. Its outlet at Junction 8 in Bishan serves the same crowd-pleasing menu for families and neighbourhood regulars: the Grub cheeseburger, bacon double cheeseburger, truffle mushroom, maple bacon, har cheong gai and chilli crab crispy fish burgers, plus a crispy portobello burger for non-meat eaters.

Beyond burgers there are mentaiko fries, salt and pepper calamari and Korean fried chicken bites, pastas such as grilled chicken pesto, sakura ebi with prawns and chilli crab with soft-shell crab, mains like har cheong fried chicken with waffles, fish and chips and grilled sirloin, salad bowls, Basque and kaya burnt cheesecakes, coffee, floats and slushies. Most burgers and pastas are around S$19 to S$27.

Grub Junction 8 takes pick-up orders through its own online ordering store, run on its restaurant POS, with orders usually ready in about 30 minutes. Order ahead online and collect from the outlet.
