Gyushi's Shenton Way branch is on level two of OUE Downtown Gallery, #02-23 at 6A Shenton Way, a short walk from Shenton Way MRT on the Thomson-East Coast Line and Downtown MRT. The building sits among the office towers of Shenton Way and Tanjong Pagar, so it is a lunch stop for the financial district.
The brand builds Japanese rice bowls around torched Australian grain-fed wagyu, starting with the Original Wagyu Beef bowl at S$14.80. Mentaiko and truffle wagyu versions sit alongside cheaper Hokkaido gyudon from S$7.80. There are also roast beef bowls, Japanese curries and a golden truffle mushroom bowl for vegetarians.
Office lunches can be ordered ahead on gyushi.atlas.kitchen: choose OUE Downtown Gallery, pick-up or delivery and a time slot. Registered users have been offered 20% off a first order, capped at S$5, with the code TRYGYUSHI. The outlet phone is +65 9893 4154. Halal status is not stated, so check with Gyushi. The Centrepoint on Orchard Road is listed separately.
