Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice (Balestier)

Loy Kee Best Chicken Rice is one of Singapore's longest-running chicken rice names. The family business started as a stall at Raymond Market in 1953 and has run its restaurant on Balestier Road since 1994, now in its third generation. The draw is classic Hainanese chicken rice, served in sets with soup, Chinese cabbage and the trio of chilli, ginger and dark soya sauces.

Loy Kee takes orders through its own online store, run on its restaurant POS and linked from its website. The menu covers chicken rice sets, whole and half chickens, bento sets, side dishes, egg and vegetable dishes, desserts and Loy Kee's own bottled sauces.
