Paper Rice (Changi City Point)

The Changi City Point branch of Paper Rice is in the basement of the mall at 5 Changi Business Park Central 1, a short walk from Expo MRT on the Downtown and East-West lines. Its neighbours are the offices of Changi Business Park and the Singapore Expo halls, so it fills with office workers at lunch and with Expo visitors and Simei and Tampines families at weekends.

Paper Rice is the Arteastiq group's Vietnamese kitchen, with a menu of more than 100 regional dishes. Most people come for pho, served in a slow-cooked beef bone broth, and the range also covers spicy bun bo Hue, grilled pork chop rice, Vietnamese-style burgers, fried and fresh spring rolls, grilled skewers and spring chicken for sharing, plus desserts and egg coffee. There is pork and alcohol on the menu, and the restaurant is not halal-certified.
