Independent, 100% halal dum biryani kitchen cooking every order fresh, with delivery and pickup from its own website.
Biryani Singapore

Biryani Singapore is an independent kitchen dedicated to dum biryani, the style in which marinated meat and basmati rice are layered and slow-cooked in a sealed pot so the rice takes on the spices. It describes itself as 100% halal, cooks every order fresh, and runs its counter from Kopitiam Food Hall at Parkway Parade in Marine Parade.

The biryani list is long: chicken, young mutton, egg, vegetable, paneer and mushroom dum biryani, plus richer versions with lamb shank, lamb chop, prawn, grilled fish, tandoori chicken and chicken tikka. Beyond the rice there are North Indian and Pakistani-style curries such as butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, mutton korma, aloo gosht and palak paneer, kebabs including chicken chapli and shami kebab, chicken and mutton haleem, and desserts such as gulab jamun, firni and carrot halwa. Large sharing pots of biryani for around ten to twelve people make it a practical choice for gatherings and office events.

Orders go through Biryani Singapore's own website, for delivery or pick-up at Parkway Parade, where the counter has been listed as open daily from 10am to 9pm. Delivery needs a minimum order of S$60, with free delivery on large orders over S$250. Website pick-up orders collected between 3pm and 7pm, Monday to Saturday, get 20% off biryani, kebabs and haleem, a perk you will not find on the delivery apps. It suits Marine Parade residents, halal diners and anyone catering a party.
