Malthouse is a neighbourhood craft beer bar and kitchen at 685 East Coast Road in Siglap, with 20 rotating taps and a bottled and canned selection from around the world covering lagers, pale ales, IPAs, stouts and sours. Its relaxed beer garden is pet-friendly, which has made it a regular stop for East Coast families and dog owners as well as beer fans.

The kitchen keeps to comfort food that travels well. Stone-baked, hand-stretched pizzas are the centrepiece, alongside smoked meats, hearty burgers, crispy wings and steaks, and a Sunday roast at the weekend. The menu suits a casual dinner at the bar, and the pizzas and wings are an easy option for a night in.

Malthouse takes delivery and pick-up orders through its own online ordering page. Delivery is charged by zone at S$8, S$10 or S$15, with minimum orders of S$30, S$40 or S$50 depending on distance, and orders can also be placed or queried by WhatsApp. The bar opens from 5pm on weekdays, earlier on Fridays, and from noon at weekends, closing between 10.30pm and midnight. Siglap MRT on the Thomson-East Coast line is the nearest station. It suits Siglap, Marine Parade and Bedok residents who want pizza and craft beer without crossing town.
