Wok Hey (Causeway Point, Woodlands)

This Wok Hey is in the basement of Causeway Point (unit #B1-K10, 1 Woodlands Square), the large mall beside Woodlands MRT, where the North-South and Thomson-East Coast lines meet, and the Woodlands bus interchange. Hours are 10.30am to 10pm daily.

The brand started in Singapore as a fried rice and noodle takeaway concept. Its egg and Shanghai fried rice use Japanese short-grain rice, and the noodle side runs to ramen and udon, each topped with grilled chicken, braised beef, seasoned prawns or crab meat. Wok Hey now lists more than 40 outlets across the island on its website.
