A Kitchen (Vision Exchange, Jurong East)

A Kitchen (友间厨坊) is a casual Chinese restaurant group with outlets across the west and north of Singapore, and its flagship sits on the ground floor of Vision Exchange on Venture Drive, a short walk from Jurong East MRT. The menu is long and built for sharing: Mala and Chongqing grilled fish served on a tabletop burner, mala and garlic crawfish, squirrel fish, Hunan-style stir-fried pork, hand-held lamb chops, pressure-cooked pork ribs with kelp and beef with potato, plus cold appetisers, home-style vegetable stir-fries and soups.

The flagship also runs a full Dongbei barbecue menu, with marinated beef, beef tendon and lamb skewers sold by the stick, and rounds things off with fried rice, buns and dumplings.

A Kitchen takes orders for this outlet through its own online store, where you choose delivery or pick-up at checkout, so the full value of your order goes to the restaurant rather than a delivery app.
